I received my first camera as a Christmas gift when I was in Grade 11. It was a used 35mm Praktica IVF that had the film advance on the bottom, and must have weighed around 4 pounds. But to me, it was the ultimate gift, as it led to years of learning, working, and many new experiences. It changed my decision to study geography at university, and instead learn more about making images and how images have come to define our culture.

Over the past thirty years I have photographed a wide gamut of subjects; portraits, aerials, medical and forensic, way too many weddings, IR, UV, and X-Rays, and everything under the commercial umbrella. Most of the time I enjoyed the work, and have always viewed photography as a problem solving experience. But my real photographic passion has always been producing my own work that explores subject matter and aesthetics that got me involved with photography in the first place. This site represents my recent and current photographic projects.
